ASMD Group W.L.L. was founded in 1978 to play a pioneering role in the development of the State of Qatar and has since grown to become one of the leading construction contracting companies in the country. ASMD Group has achieved ISO certifications including ISO 14001:2004, ISO 18001: 2007 and ISO 9001: 2008 that further validate its adherence to international quality, environment and safety standards.
ASMD Group was founded by our late father, Mr. Agha Sarwar Majeed Daoudpota ASMD, who was one of the most respected businessmen and philanthropists in the Gulf region. Today, after nearly four decades, we continue to stand true to our legacy and redefine the horizons of value engineering, procurement & construction, project management, building design, maintenance and more.
Since its inception, ASMD Group has been a pioneer in construction and contracting. Our result oriented approach, combined with an unwavering commitment to put the clients first, enables us to adapt to the versatile requirements of any construction project and deliver the promised outcome. Our continuous quest for innovation allows us to take on challenging projects and collaborate with renowned international consulting firms.

ASMD Group's infrastructure and resources include a talent pool of technical manpower. We have well equipped workshop facilities for carpentry and steel fabrication at Al Shahinya operated by professional and certified employees… ASMD Group also operates and maintains a large fleet of machinery and equipment which includes earth moving, material handling and light and heavy vehicles. ASMD Group is a registered contractor in various ministries and public entities including: Hamad Medical Corporation, MMAF PWA, Kaharmaa, QEWC, Qatar Fuel (WOQOD), Qatar Foundation, QNCC, Qatar Armed Forces, Private Engineering Office, QPMC, National Security Shield and American Air Base. We are firmly established as a preferred partner who delivers on promises, on time and on budget irrespective of the nature, size and complexity of the construction project.

Group Chairman's Message

In present times when age is a thing of the past, ASMD Group. W.L.L. proudly continues to optimize its legacy of multi-disciplinary expertise encompassing building construction and design-build projects while offering value engineering solutions. Established in 1978, we have been among the first in Qatar to pioneer many essential and ground-breaking projects that introduced world-class infrastructure to the citizens of Qatar. Most of our firsts include infrastructural establishments like electricity sub-stations, health-centers and schools across Qatar that today reflect ASMD Group’s twin-seal of premium vintage and trust. Looking forward, as Qatar looks to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup and make the National Vision 2030 a reality, we believe, with our proven track record and reputation, that we are well positioned to endure and partake in this great endeavor.
Our values that are ingrained in our employees, combined with high quality and on-budget project delivery, earns us the badge of being a trusted & qualified partner for the Government. This is evident from the fact that among all others, ASMD Group was chosen for the construction of the first National Security Shield building in Qatar. ASMD Group is a family-owned and operated construction company which has moved seamlessly across each decade of Qatar's progress, from the past century and into today's Millennial Age. Today, thanks to our legacy and committed team of highly experienced engineers and architects, we have diligently contributed to the existing and upcoming sectoral frontiers both as a guide and innovator. Our ultimate goal is to redefine trust and quality in new- age construction design. Through this endearing journey of ups and downs, profit has just been a positive outcome of our commitment to serve Qatar and never a pillar. As the Chairman of ASMD Group, since 2011, I assure all our esteemed clients, stakeholders and well-wishers our continued support and services as we usher in the next stage of evolution in Qatar. My previous experience as the Chairman of Central Tender Committee and the sustained support of the members of our family continues to be my source of inspiration and guidance. Yes indeed, age, supported by the foundation of experience, sits fine atop our crest. Rest assured, this is one Endeavour which will not wither within a month, a year, a decade or a century in the wake of our endless dreams & infinite possibilities.
